More of a water bearer than a tree hugger?

So yesterday, I took my daughter to listen to Alexandra Cousteau, after all she is a Cousteau and that family is one of our favorite families. My daughter wants to pursue a career in marine biology so what better moment then to experience and listen to Alexandra Cousteau right? At first I was hoping she would forget because I had to drive to Incline but now I am glad I went with her. I am aware of climate issues and many I have heard have more than just some merit but many are just trying to make money off the "green" thing.
However, I learned many new things listening to Alexandra such as, did you know the  Colorado river no longer dumps into the ocean and that has caused the sea of Cortez to have serious environmental consequences? She also visited the gulf spill area and the so called "75% oil spill gone area" (BP Spill) and reported to us the fallacies of this claim. Their math doesn't tell you the exact truth but that 75% is 75% of the 25% of the oil spill that was reclaimable, including the oil they are able to sell to us... You do the math on that.

Her thing is about critical water issues and educating anyone who will listen about these issues. I found her cause to be quite interesting and encourage anyone to check out her website at www.alexandracousteau.org.

The best things in life aren't things...

I truly enjoy giving someone a completed project and see their smile.  It brings me joy to help others put together their dreams to the best of my abilities.  Whether it be a website or custom illustration for their office desk notepads, the creativity just loves to flow outwards.
